Shelf and Bay Technical Spec.
The above rating are for some of our common sizes only. We can supply rating for all our shelf sizes from 900×445 to 2743×1200. We only use the lower rating of the Beam Capacity or Ply capacity with our ratings. Many suppliers only give you the beam rating and forget about the rating for TIMBER shelves (or should i say Chipboard shelves) they are only giving you half of the information. We ONLY use PLYWOOD shelves as these will always give you long term security and will not fail. Ply will not be affected by our humid climate. (The TIMBER Chipboard Shelves from other suppliers will bend and flake, within a few years)

Plywood Shelves
We use only Plywood Shelves on these racks. The Black Film Face Hardwood Ply with Marine Glue will make it easy to clean and give you years of service. We use 18mm ply on our 60mm Standard Beams and 25mm on the Extra Heavy Duty 80mm Beams with shelf ratings to 929Kg. Many business call there shelves “Timber Shelves” what they are using is Chipboard, yes it is timber, but!!! Plywood is much better.
